25th week — Let’s read a story — Money

Big argument between husband and wife. The husband tells his wife that his duty is to earn money and I am acting in accordance with the proverb “Seek wealth, even by riding the waves”. Family, looking after the children, is your job. Don’t drag me into it and waste my time. Our economic situation and future will be better if we have money.

Wife looking after husband, yes dear, it is my duty to look after family. I never considered it a job. My concern is not only that you look after children, family but also to see your health. How many rich people have a bright future?

Husband, oh cool! if we have money, we can buy everything, money is life.

Upon hearing this the wife also understood that her husband was crazy about money. She starts talking to her husband thinking that this should be removed somehow.

My dear husband, money alone does not make a living. Money is also a kind of caste. We differentiate between the rich and the poor based on money. The time when people are jealous of those who have money has changed and now, they are jealous of those who are healthy.

Can money buy past, lost youth, and life gone? Say my dear partner.

Husband: What are you talking about, how can that be? You are trying to distract me by saying impossible things.

Wife : It is wrong for you to think that way.

Money can buy a house, but not a loving home.

Money can buy a clock, but not the precious time.

Money can buy Bed, mattress, but not for peaceful sleep.

Money can buy an Insurance, but not safety.

Money can buy a variety of meals, but not an appetite.

Money can buy a book, but not knowledge.

Money can buy a Medicine, but not the health.

There are many more in this world that money cannot buy. It is not known or understood by people like you. We are with you today but you have more grapple with money than us. Time will pass when you are looking for us to enjoy after earning money. Time will not wait for anyone. You and I will be getting older. Our children will grow up.

Husband looking at wife, agree this is wrong. I realized this. I understood better. Money is an element of life, it is not the only life. Can’t hold family with money.

Today we all travel with the same goal of money and ignore the real pleasures of life. No matter how much money we make, “EMI: easy monthly installments” make us poor.
